  • The Optimist Club of South Windsor has prepared an excellent Builder's Manual, full of details on how to design and build a soap box racer (note that the car dimensions in this manual may differ from those required for the New Dundee Soap Box Derby)
  • Steering and braking systems deserve careful planning and attention! Many different designs will work, but here is one idea for Steering and Braking Mechanisms, courtesy of the Woodstock Soap Box Derby
  • The New Dundee Soap Box Derby is focused on homebuilt fun... Experienced soap box racers or those looking for a bigger challenge should consider entering the Wellesley Soap Box Classic, also on Labour Day Monday.
